What kid doesn’t like making noise? Throw a few old instruments their way and and you will soon have something approximating music! If your instruments haven’t done anything to deserve being passed off on a toddler, or if you just don’t have any, they can be easily improvised. With this in mind, we set out to make a music table for our son, using recyclable and household materials.

DIY Music Table from Recyclable and Household Materials: A great handmade toy for exploring music with kids!

We looked around the house and found old tins, bells, bracelets, a piece of copper pipe and a broken cymbal… You can find out what we did with them if you check our post on the CBC Parents site for the full tutorial!

Budster was thrilled to be making noise… I mean, music. And Daddy couldn’t help but join him – here’s the first recording of the Daddy & Buddy Band.
